Bamboo Farm & Coastal Gardens
A 52-acre branch experiment station of the University of Georgia’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the site houses the largest collections of bamboo in North America, with more than 140 varieties. In the Cottage Garden, varieties of perennials, annuals and bulbs are evaluated for their adaptability to the southeastern coastal climate and soil.
