Sandy Springs, Georgia

Sandy Springs Historic Site & Museum

The Sandy Springs Historic Site and park is the home of the natural springs for which the community was named. The three acre site includes the Williams-Payne House Museum, an 1870’s “plain style” farmhouse, woodlands, a native Georgia garden with vegetables and cotton, a historic teaching garden with annuals and perennials grown from heirloom seeds, and a bog garden with a wooden boardwalk. From April – August, concerts are held in the park the last Sunday of each month. [ info ]
