Bok Tower Gardens

First-generation Dutch immigrant Edward W. Bok created Historic Bok Sanctuary as his gift to the American people. The gardens of the 245-acre Sanctuary were designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. Ferns, palms, oaks and pines create a year-round backdrop of 1,000 shades of green for the seasonal bursts of azaleas, camellias and magnolia.Nearly 50 acres of Olmsted gardens surround Pinewood Estate, a 1930s Mediterranean-style mansion, and the 205-foot art deco and neo-Gothic Singing Tower housing one of the world’s finest carillons with 60 bells that ring every half hour and during daily concerts.Open daily.
