Reiman Gardens Iowa State University

One of the largest public gardens in Iowa. This 14-acre garden features a conservatory, eleven specialty gardens, including children’s garden, All American Rose Selections (AARS) Trial and Display Garden, five supporting greenhouses, gift shop, and a café called Hazel’s Kitchen. The 2,500-square-foot indoor Christina Reiman Butterfly Wing is the “jewel” of the Gardens. Designed to look like a butterfly in flight, it is a year-round tropical garden filled with exotic and native butterflies from six continents. [ info ]
